Steam, and then some...

... for the Northern Express Railroad.

Whew, recently I've looked back at my works so far, but now I realized some of the trains, including the steam engines, looks quite goofy-looking.
Well, it's only some of the steam locomotives from my works including "Drunkin' High Express", "Desert Rider", and even the train that killed iCarly from "Operation Lifesaver, anyone?" that looked quite silly, and unbelievably goofy looking to me....
Even the Amtrak Monorail, seen in "Future Seems Wild" and that 4-6-0 from "Taking a Drink", both of my works moved into Scraps, also seems goofy-looking.

But hey, those are my OLD works, I might make revised versions of these someday soon.

----------------------------------------

Enough of that, here are just two 4-8-4s of each type, both ran for the Northern Express Railroad, the railroad featured in Team Fortress 2.

Let's compare and contrast these 4-8-4s, shall we?

Type 1:
Type 1 is basically a coal burner, hence the coal tender behind. Apparently, all Northern Express 4-8-4s once began life as coal burning steamers, like all other classic steam locomotives, it was primary used as freight locomotives. It seemly has all the basic features that a steamer have, including safety valves, the basic coal tender design, only has a single headlight for lighting up the tracks ahead, up forward, simplified backhead, and even originally has well oiled bearings on the locomotive's axles.

Type 2:
Well, you might be surprised that it might be the SAME type as Type 1, except it's actually a completely modified version of Type 1, which now as a complex appearance, including the smoke deflector, and a additional Mars light. Much like Type 1, it's originally used as a coal burner, until it's now become a oil burner, with its coal tender modified to carry fuel oil instead of coal, which make the locomotive burns cleaner. Features improved on the Type 2 locomotive includes the safety valves, the coal part of her tender replaced with oil tanks, the additional smokebox-mounted Mars light and rear light on tender, more improved traction, completely modified backhead, and even the locomotive's axles improved with roller bearings.

Bottom line: These 4-8-4s might probably be my BEST ever looking locomotives drawn so far, and if by chance if anyone expected Valve to add these 4-8-4s to Team Fortress 2, it would be cool...... maybe even if TF2 has taken place in the 1960s, and the 1960s is considered to be the final year of general steam railroad operation. I dunno, I guess I still like it so far.

Oh, and don't forget that I used references for these pretty, sexy ol' gals.
(Oh, pardon me commenting about steam locomotives like that...)
In fact......

:iconmedicrapefaceplz::iconsaysplz: Hyaaaah! Horrido!
:iconengineerplz::iconsaysplz: Now I've seen everything...
:iconsniperplz::iconsaysplz: Gaah, piss!

Well, I guess that's it, hope you enjoy.
